It’s been a really busy year for all of us at Macedonia Films, but choosing my favorite moments isn’t really that difficult. In fact, it might even be my favorite moments from the past few years combined.

Avarice Premiere

After spending almost 2 years in post production, it was so rewarding to finally share Avarice with the rest of the world. It was my first film to show to an audience so it was a big moment for me personally as well. A bit of a rocky start turned into a very memorable evening.

Haley, CJ, and I introduced Avarice to room full of kids while Dan dealt with technical difficulties (which seemed to be the theme of the day!).

Haley Parker displays our beautiful photo book for the film.

Here we are at the Macedonia Films booth. We met so many great people that weekend, and the booth looked fantastic thanks to our fabulous Production Designer Chad M Irwin.

Tom Kenny (the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants) Came to See Avarice

Yes, that’s right. We had a celebrity at our screening, and he left saying how much he liked it. Avarice is officially Tom Kenny approved!

Indiegogo Campaign

We also did an Indiegogo campaign to raise money for the post production of Avarice. We didn’t think we would reach our goal, but we surpassed it! Thanks to all who were involved. It meant a lot to see people come out of the woodwork and support us on this.

Short Video Ride

To our highest Indiegogo donor, we promised to make a short film for them. Trevor Prather was our highest contributor and not only did we make a movie about him, he also starred in it. And if you can’t tell from watching it, we really liked the movie Drive. Check it out below!

It’s definitely been a busy year, and we hope that next year will be even busier!
