*** Don’t miss our End of the World Meme Roundup!!! ***

Well here we are, about 130 days (give or take) away from what some people believe is the end of the world. I don’t understand what everyone is freaking out about. There are 2 very important reasons why I don’t believe. The first reason is Matthew 24:36.

“No one knows the day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”

The second reason is, if you’ve ever seen any time travel movie then you know the world does not end in 2012. For example…

Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure

Hands down one of the greatest movies ever made. The world simply cannot end in 2012 because Rufus tells of a utopian society in the year 2866. We have so much to look forward to; it’s a world where “be excellent to each other” is the law.

Also, check out those outfits. I mean who wouldn’t love to live there?!

The Terminator

Okay, so maybe this isn’t the most positive outlook for our future, but at least it shows that we have one. I would agree that the world ending now would be better than living in a world run by murderous cyborgs, but there is a bright side, people. Robots are awesome so long as SkyNet doesn’t build them, and that won’t happen until the year 2029.

There’s plenty of time for preventive measures.

Back to the Future II

We’ve all seen the meme that’s been making the rounds on Facebook about the world not ending because Marty McFly traveled to the year 2015. That future looked awesome. Let’s make that future happen.

I am a little disappointed though, it is nearly 2013 and I can’t understand why we still don’t have hoverboards! I’m looking at you, Mattel. You have 2 years. Get to work!

Let’s be Logical

Speaking of Memes, have you seen this one? My mind actually was blown when I first read it because I never factored in leap years before. The Mayans didn’t account for them. Logically speaking, the world should have ended about a year ago. This argument should be enough to shut up any doomsday fanatic screaming about the end of the world.

However, if you happen to believe the world is about to end and no longer have need for all of your personal belongings, then I call dibs!

Do you think the world will end December 21, 2012?
